David serves as primary legal counsel for individuals, families and their advisors in estate, tax and charitable planning. His diverse background in business, estate planning and non-profit experience give David a broad platform to address the multiple needs of his clients.

 

David collaborates with non-profits as a consultant to their planned giving efforts and also counsels charitably minded families in the most efficient ways to partner with the non-profits they support. David has worked closely with families in this capacity for over a decade.

 

For estate planning, David advises clients on wills, trusts, powers of attorney for property, powers of attorney for healthcare, guardianship, special needs trusts, trust administration and succession planning. The planning in this area is completed with the aim of accomplishing client’s goals while reducing or eliminating taxes at both the state and federal level.

 

On a personal note, David is married to Julie and lives in Boerne, Texas with their six children. He volunteers his time with several local non-profits and is on the Board of Advisors for A Family for Every Orphan which is an organization focused on finding loving Christian families for orphans around the world. While David lives in Boerne, Texas, he continues to work with clients in Illinois and California.
